.dash the NetCanvas IDE / Designer

One of the core plugins to Canvas known as ".dash" is equivalent to an IDE that gives Designers & Developers tools to create whatever is needed for the application / site being built.

General

/.dash while being an optional plugin, it's normally used in place of the original tools, to give Developers & Designers the same feel as an IDE.

Built using .dash

The .dash Assembly was written using the tools provided by NetCanvas. This is a prime example of how flexible & open NetCanvas is. The Net4orce.Canvas.Dashboard Dynamic Assembly contains all of the sources used for running the .dash IDE. Allowing you to make changes to it (using it self - yes it's all a bit Inception!).

Screenshots

I'll add more screenshots over time.

This is a screenshot from a MacBook Pro 13 inch retina, with the default resolution.

The screen shot shows how, even on a 13" (1280 x 800) display, it's possible to view the site & view sources side-by-side. The preview, in the top right of the image, has it's zoom set to 50%.

The 4k Possibilities

Here's a screenshot from a 4k display, well 3.8k (3840 x 2160), demonstrating how the split-pane views allow for flexible layout and access to a wide range of functionality on a single screen.

4k Possibilities

The site viewer, bottom left, in this screenshot is set to 100% zoom; rendering the page at a 1:1 ratio.

Here's a screenshot showing FireFox support.

Some of the content in the screenshots above is out of date, here's another screenshot with the current status. ( 20th June 2016) In fact this screenshot is taken from a NetCanvas instance installed on Google's Cloud Platform.
